After my dentist told me I needed laser gum surgery, I went into a total panic. I have been struggling with periodontal issues for most of my adult life, and have always had some 5 and 6 mm depth pockets in my mouth that have been of concern, but one of them finally flared up to a 9mm pocket. My dentist gave me a referral to a periodontist, and I was about 2 days away from my appointment when I decided to google gum surgery to find out more.
Once I arrived at the office, I felt welcome and they made me feel at home. The Doctor didn't keep me waiting long, and he was very gentle when probing my gums, and made me very comfortable. The second day I came back for the other half of the procedure, and I actually jumped into the chair because I was not scared at all, and very much ready for the procedure. Everything went very smoothly, and I am now healing very quickly. The Laser Gum Surgery Center took the time to call me on Friday night after hours to follow up with me and make sure everything was OK. I was VERY impressed with the fact that my dentist personally took the time to ca
These lasers were created by dentists, receiving extensive clinical trials before receiving Federal Drug Administration approval. This technology is set to reinvent periodontal surgery as we know it.
